Nonviolence Incorporation Calls on Respecting Sanctities in Iraq

Pursuant to unorthodox and disrespecting programs at the opening ceremony of a football event, hosted by the holy City of Karbala, Nonviolence Incorporation released a statement that comes as follows:

“In the name of God, the beneficent, the merciful

Almighty God states: “and whoever venerates the signs of God, it is truly a sign of pure heart. Chapter Hajj, verse 32.

Nonviolence Incorporation has received news regarding the outrageous and untraditional programs at the opening ceremony of West Asia Football Federation Championship, which undermined the sanctity of its host City, the holy Karbala and angered the Iraqi people nationwide. It should be reminded that the holy City of Karbala and many other Cities of Iraq are home to the shrines of the holy AhlulBayt (peace be upon them), which were revered and venerated by millions of Muslims across the globe. Therefore, the officials should always be careful not to hurt the feelings of the lovers of AhlulBayt (PBUT) by the actions that overshadow the sanctities of these holy sites. The rest of the statement reads: “Nonviolence Incorporation demands the Iraqi officials and authorities to respect the beliefs and traditions of their people, and abide by international laws and domestic norms.”
