Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Dispatches Assistance to Flooded Areas of Iran

With the efforts of the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, the eighth round of aids were dispatched to the flooded city of Lorestan, in western Iran. More than 400 villages were hit with the floods that washed over most of the country, in the early days of the Persian New Year. The eighth rounds of aids and assistance by the Grand Jurist’s Office consist of food items and cash handouts, which are distributed among flood victims in this province. It is worth noting that some special programs were conducted by the delegations of the Grand Jurist for children in Lorestan, coinciding with the glorious holiday of Al-Ghadeer.
