Representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi at Muslim-Christian Dialogue Forum

Following an invitation by the organizer of Al-Aman Peace Foundation, the Christian-Muslim Dialogue Forum and the Eastern Civilization Studies Center, Sheikh Ali Al-Fouani, one of the representatives of the Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in Lebanon took part in the Muslim-Christian dialogue forum in this country.

In his speech, Sheikh Foani conveyed the statements of the Grand Jurist with respect to peaceful coexistence between followers of Islam and Christianity. He further talked about the nature of the cultural invasion that targets the youths in all religious communities and said: “We need to adapt to the concept of modernity so that we can protect the truth of our faiths.” It is worth noting that this forum hosted some Christian archbishops, Lebanese MPs, and intellectuals.
