Rasul Adham Religious Center Hosts Maqtal Ceremony in Switzerland

On Tuesday, September 10, coinciding with the fateful Day of Ashura and Imam Hussain’s martyrdom, the Rasul Adham Religious Center in Switzerland hosted a ceremony of Maqtal (The Report of the Battle of Karbala) during which straight accounts of the martyrdom of the Prophet’s grandson and his companions were recited to the public. Groups of Shia believers and lovers of AhlulBayt (peace be upon them) participated in this ceremony.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
