Imam Shirazi World Foundation Thanks Organizers of Ashura Memorials

Imam Shirazi World Foundation published a statement in which it thanked efforts by all organizers of Ashura memorials around the world. Here come some parts of the statement:

In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

God Almighty states in Holy Quran:

“And he who venerates the signs of Allah, it is surely from the pure heart.”

Hajj Chapter, verse 32.

Imam Shirazi World Foundation honors the huge attendance of Shia Muslims in the memorials of the Master of Martyrs Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and his noble household on the Day of Ashura, which is marked annually on the 10^th day of the month of Muharram.

This foundation also honors the works of religious speakers, eulogizers, reciters and the people who served other Shia mourners at service units all across the world. ISWF also prays for all servants and the participants of the Hussaini memorials to be

given the honor to continue in this path and be reunited with the holy Prophet of Islam in the afterlife.

The rest of the statement reads:

“This foundation calls on all scholars to uphold the holy memorials of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) until the end of the month of Safar and concentrate their efforts to disseminating the core beliefs and lessons of Ashura and that of the holy Prophet’s mission to the entire world. The memory of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) should be used to promote justice, equity, pure hearts, the right to have an honorable life, and standing up to oppression. May God grant all servants of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) great rewards both in this world and the next.”
