Members of Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Welcome Shia Mourners on 13th of Muharram

On the 13^th of the month of Muharram, which marks the burial anniversary of the martyrs of Holy Karbala and the symbolic entrance of the Bani Assad tribe to this holy land in order to bury the martyrs of Karbala, members from the office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Karbala, welcomed public groups of mourners. The Bani Assad tribe follows a symbolic march to the holy shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) each year, and pledges its loyalty to the Imam, and his loyal companions. Historically, the Bani Assad tribe were the people who visited the land of Karbala and buried the pure bodies of the martyrs, three days after the tragedies of Ashura.
