Clerics from Afghanistan Meet Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

On Tuesday, November 4, 2019, groups of Shia clerics from Afghanistan visited the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Qom and listened to his eminence. Mr. Waezi, the head of the Grand Jurist’s Office in Bamyan City and the president of the Afghan League of Scholars, Ayatollah Mousawi, a member of this Office and an instructor of Islamic fiqh, Sheikh Jamali, a member of the Grand Jurist’s Office and Sheikh Fahimi, one of members of the league of scholars in Bamyan City were present in this meeting. At the beginning of this meeting, Mr. Waezi explained about the growing Shia community in Bamyan City and the programs run by the Islamic Seminaries as well as the Office of Grand Jurist in this City on various occasions, especially during the holy month of Ramadhan. He further talked about the shortages particularly in cultural fields in Bamyan City and conveyed the best regards of his colleagues to the Grand Jurist. The Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi thanked all religious and cultural activists in Afghanistan and insisted on diligence as the key to success in all areas. His eminence further said that the believers should never fear the hardships in their works and welcome them with open arms.
