Shias Celebrate Birthday of the Holy Prophet in Mayson Province of Iraq

Coinciding with the birthday of the holy Prophet of Islam and Imam Sadiq (peace be upon them) the Shia believers held ceremonies to celebrate this blissful occasion at al-Zahra Religious Center in Mayson province of Iraq. These celebrations were also attended by Sheikh Salah al-Halfi, the director of the Cultural Department of the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Najaf, following an invitation by Sheikh Mohammad Al-Asadi, a prayer leader and speaker in Mayson province.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
