Sunni Cleric from Lebanon Meets Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Holy Qom Iran

On Sunday, 19th of Rabi Al-Awwal 1441 AH, Sheikh Suhaib Al-Habli, a Sunni cleric from Lebanon and a famous religious preacher in Eastern Asia visited the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Qom, Iran. In this meeting, this religious preacher explained about his activities and the obstacles that he faces in his missionary programs. Furthermore, the Grand Jurist stated:

“This world is a huge marketplace with so many businesses like gold, woodworks, foods, books and etc. If a person is not successful in any of these businesses, they try their luck in other areas of this marketplace. In contrast, there is only one profitable business in the afterlife, and that is seeking truth. God Almighty says in verse 14 of Surah Qiamat, “but the human beings are aware of themselves,” In this verse, God Almighty makes it clear that all human beings have a relative understanding of themselves. If people put this understanding into action, in a sense that if they encourage the good doers and renounce the evil actions, you will be prosperous.”

Further in this meeting, the Grand Ayatollah hinted:

“Goodness needs to be encouraged and vice should be denounced. Making this a slogan in your lives will not be easy, as the holy Prophet of Islam faced so many hardships and troubles created by the hypocrites and pagans in holy Mecca and Medina. We all need to be ready to face all kinds of hardships and say farewell to luxuries and comfort in this path.” His eminence then emphasized, “This is the only path, and it is fraught with hardships and problems; but keep in mind that rewards are given proportionate to the hardships you overcome. We only need to seek the pleasure of God Almighty, no matter what hardships will be imposed on us by others. In this path, we have many great role models, people like Abu Dhar who died of hunger in exile only because they remained loyal to the path of goodness.”
