Clerics from Kuwait Meet Grand Ayatollah Shirazi
On Tuesday, 21st of Rabi Al-Awwal 1441 AH, clerics and eulogizers from Kuwait met with the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Qom and listened to statements by his eminence. During this meeting, the Grand Jurist asked these visitors to have schedules and don’t let their time go to waste. His eminence further hinted:
“When I was your age, I attended six classes every day and then, I reviewed everything after these classes. In addition, I used to prepare for classes on the next day the night before. I never stopped studying, even on weekends and during summer vacations. You should also immerse yourselves in studying and don’t waste a minute of your precious time. In this subject, holy Quran says: “Verily, it is from pure determination.”
The Grand Ayatollah then added:
“Today, thousands of clerics are studying at the seminaries, but only a handful of them will reach high scientific ranks and, because of the correct use of their time. Our master, Imam Ali (peace be upon him) has also called on everyone to take care of their time and be orderly.” Further in this meeting, the Grand Jurist asked these visitors to encourage the youths in Kuwait to study about the culture and school of AhlulBayt (peace be upon them) so that this country will have a learned and scholarly generation in the future. His eminence also encouraged the poets and eulogizers at this meeting to keep working, and dedicate their works only to the holy AhlulBayt (peace be upon them).
