Shia Scholar from Pakistan Meets Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Hussein Akbar, a religious scholar from Pakistan and the director of Minhaj Institute, along with a group of clerics from this country met with the Grand Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi in holy Qom, Iran. During this meeting, Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Hussein offered a report of his activities in Pakistan and briefed the Grand Jurist on various topics, including the publication of religious books. Furthermore, the Grand Jurist made a few remarks revolving the great character of Imam Ali (peace be upon him): “The world, and even the Shia have not comprehended the great personality of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). Not many of them know that Imam Ali ruled over half the civilized world at his time, and in his vast realm, history reports no cases of political imprisonment or execution.” The Grand Ayatollah then hinted: “You live in Pakistan, but your audience should be the whole world. Therefore, we need to make the world familiar with the exceptional policies of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him).”
