Religious Activists Meet Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

Religious and cultural activists, as well as university students from the cities of Shiraz, Isfahan, and Qazween came together at the House of Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Qom and met with his eminence in person. In this meeting, the Grand Jurist stated: “Every young person will get old one day and if you want to have no regrets in your elderly, every one of you should stick to these words of the holy Prophet of Islam who said: Don’t get angry, don’t get angry and don’t get angry.”

The Grand Ayatollah further explained: “As soon as you manage to control your anger and rage, you will have fewer regrets in your lives. In the afterlife, when the book of deeds is given to a person, he or she comes across numerous sins and misdeeds that are caused by their anger and rage.” Towards the end of this meeting, his eminence hinted: “Be quick to apologize for your mistakes and anger. Make a firm decision to avoid anger and remain dedicated to it.”

At the end of this meeting, the Grand Ayatollah said: “You are now at the vicinity of the shrine of Lady Fatimah Masoumeh (peace be upon her) and tonight is the martyrdom of this noble lady. Right now, at this moment, you should make up your minds and be committed to cutting out anger from your lives because this is the key to prosperity.”
