Shia Believers from Baghdad Meet Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

Members of two pilgrimage caravans from Baghdad, Iraq arrived in holy Qom on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, and met with the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in person. After the meeting, the pilgrims were joined by Sheikh Jasem Adeeb, a member of the Grand Jurist’s Office, who made a speech to them. Each year, tens of Iraqi pilgrimage caravans set up centers in the holy city of Qom to serve the Shia Muslims at the shrine of Lady Fatima Masoumeh (peace be upon her). Mourning processions and religious commemorations of Lady Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) are also other parts of the activities of these Iraqi pilgrimage caravans. It is worth noting that Shia Societies Association, dependent on Imam Shirazi World Foundation welcomes various groups of Iraqi pilgrims in these days.
