12th Anniversary of Late Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Redha Shirazi in Holy Najaf

On Wednesday, January 22, 2020, the 12th passing anniversary of the late Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Redha Shirazi was held in holy Najaf. This memorial service was attended by religious clerics and scholars in holy Najaf, as well as representatives of Islamic jurists, and public groups of Shia believers. Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Redha Shirazi was a renowned Shia scholar and cleric, born in the holy city of Karbala in 1959. Enjoying the tutelage of his father, late Grand Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Shirazi and his uncle, Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi, the late Sayed Mohammad Redha Shirazi was propelled to the top ranks of religious scholars and was recognized as an Ayatollah at the age of 28, when he wrote the book, Al-Taratub, and received great applause by all senior Shia clerics.
