Anwar Al-Jawadain Institute Commemorates Passing of Lady Om Al-Banin Peace Be Upon Her

Anwar Al-Jawadain Institute, dependent on the Office of Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in Baghdad held commemorations to honor the passing of Lady Om Al-Banin (peace be upon her). This commemoration began with the recitation of holy Quran, and then, Sheikh Haidar Al-Jabouri delivered a speech to the public. Lady Om Al-Banin is the loyal wife of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and she is revered among the Shia populace.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
