Imam Shirazi Center Studies Role of Religious Institutions in Social Developments

Imam Shirazi Center, headquartered in holy Karbala held a conference to discuss the role of religious institutions in boosting social developments. This conference was attended by groups of academics, legal experts and members of the press. Mr. Haidar Al-Jarah, the director of Imam Shirazi Center was presiding over this event. On this subject, he said: “The products of religious institutions and social foundations have always been very influential in the Iraqi society. This is why we should emphasize the role of these institutions in plans to spread social awareness and development in our country.” Sheikh Morteza Maash, the director of Annaba Institute also said: “Great civilizations are created by religions. To support this claim, we can refer to the Islamic civilization, the Christian civilization, and the Chinese civilization.”
