Nonviolence Incorporation Publishes Statement on World Environment Day

On June 5th, coinciding with the World Environment Day, Nonviolence Incorporation published a statement that reads as follows:

In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

“Do not corrupt the land after it has been set right, that is best for you, if you are believers.”

In the meantime, that the world is struggling with the deadly coronavirus pandemic, we celebrate the 5th of June, the World Environment Day to mark the necessity of protecting the planet we live in, by universal and coherent policies to combat issues such as air pollution, deforestation, global warming and etc. Surprisingly and according to recent studies, the coronavirus pandemic has also contributed to the environment in its own way, by reducing the emission of dangerous gases and giving our planet earth a breather to heal itself. Given this opportunity, Nonviolence Incorporation calls on the world leaders to set in order series of laws and regulations to restrict the emission of dangerous gases to a certain amount, so as to let this healing process continue. Other projects such as fighting deforestation must be put on the agenda as well, as scientists believe that the planet’s lungs need immediate attention.
