The Public Relations Office of Grand Jurist Discusses Facilitation of Arbaeen with Iraqi Officials

Some Iraqi officials participated in the yearly conference held by the Public Relations Office of Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Karbala to discuss methods to facilitate Arbaeen Annual Pilgrimage.

This conference hosted Sayed Mahdi Shirazi, the son of the late Grand Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Shirazi, Mr. Aref Nasrullah, the PR manager of Grand Jurist, the deputy governor of holy Karblaa, the Head of Water and Wastewater Department, Head of the Youth and Sports Department, Director of Private Transportation, Deputy Director General of Oil Products and Director of Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Oil in the Holy City of Karbala.

The conference began with statements by Sayed Mahdi Shirazi who said:

“Each year, we witness unfair campaigns against the sacred rituals of Imam Hussain peace be upon him; they usually try to depict these rituals as the signs of backwardness, but the truth is that they are afraid of these rituals.”

He also added: “Serving Imam Hussain is a divine blessing to all of us, so we should treasure this blessing and fulfill our duties.”

The Public Relations manager of Grand Jurist also said:

“We should not pay attention to our positions, the paperwork and other things; these should be melted in the Husseini service project, because for us the pilgrim is the most important and serving him more than anything else.”
He then emphasized on supplying water and electricity for pilgrims during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage and declared his outright support for any cooperation.

At the end, the Iraqi officials at this conference expressed their readiness for the upcoming Arbaeen pilgrimage.
