The Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Beirut, the Lebanese capital remembers the martyrdom anniversary of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Husayn (peace be upon him), during the first ten days of the month of Muharram. The managers and members of the Grand Jurist’s Office, as well as cultural and religious figures take part in these commemorations and pray for the reappearance of the holy savior, Imam Al-Mahdi (May Allah hasten his advent).

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
