Zainabiya Seminary Honors First Ten Days of Muharram

The Islamic Seminary of Zainabiya, affiliated to the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in the Syrian Capital, Damascus, commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him) during the first ten days of Muharram. Large numbers of cultural and religious activists, as well as representatives of the Islamic Jurists took part in these commemorations. After the recitation of Ziarat Ashura, Sheikh Fazil Al-Haidari delivered a lecture to the public.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
