Zainabiya Seminary in Syria Recites Accounts of Imam Husayn’s Martyrdom

On the 10^th of Muharram, coinciding with Ashura Day, the Islamic Seminary of Zainabiya, affiliated with the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Damascus held a program in which Sheikh Fazil Al-Haidari recited the historical accounts of Imam Husayn’s martyrdom. Dozens of Shia believers, religious activists, cultural experts and representatives of Islamic Jurists participated in this program.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
