Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Welcomes Seminarians in Holy Karbala

Members and managers of the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi hosted some seminarians from Bin Fahad Hilli Seminary and the mourning procession of Bani Assad tribe on the 13^th of Muharram. The members of the Grand Jurist’s Office also took part in this march and offered their condolences over the martyrdom of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him). Each year on the 13^th of Muharram, thousands of Shia believers join the march of Bani Assad, to pay tribute to the shrines of Imam Husayn and Hazrat Abbas (peace be upon them). This symbolic march marks the burial of the noble bodies of the martyrs in Karbala, at the hand of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) and members of Bani Assad tribe. Cultural figures, representatives of Islamic Jurists, tribal figures and mourners of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him) participated in this ritual.
