Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Representative Meets Security and Tribal Figures in Baghdad

Sheikh Maisum Al-Akaeshi, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi representative in holy Najaf met with some security, social and tribal figures in Baghdad in recent days. In his meeting with Dr. Adel Al-Rikabi, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, both sides discussed plans to support needy and low-income households during the coronavirus pandemic. In a separate meeting with Colonel Nasser Al-Sharifi, the chief of Iraq’s Tribal Community Association, and Brigadier Majid Al-Mousavi, the police chief of Baghdad, the security of the country’s capital was discussed. The Grand Jurist’s representative further visited the City of Madaein and met with religious and tribal figures, and participated in the religious programs.
