Nonviolence Incorporation Requests End to Ongoing Armenia-Azerbaijan Conflict

Nonviolence Incorporation (Freemuslim) published a statement in which it called for international efforts to help Armenian and Azerbaijani governments resolve their disputes through negotiations. Here are some parts of the statement:

Nonviolence Incorporation expresses its deepest concern over the flare-up of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict in the past week. This foundation further calls on both parties of the conflict to put aside their differences and focus on constructive efforts to pave the way for peace and reconciliation. This foundation emphasizes the need for the two parties to engage in dialogue and declare an immediate ceasefire in order to reach a serious, appropriate and effective solution to the existing problems and issues. In this sense, Nonviolence Incorporation calls on the international community and influential countries to prevent the continuation and widening scope of this war. The foundation further warns of the consequences of such conflicts in the region and on international levels, which could result in a humanitarian catastrophe and pave the way for unnecessary political and economic strife. At the end, Nonviolence requests the wise men of the two countries, to join efforts and help reach common points in reconciliation using all viable means such as the diplomatic channels to settle the disputed issues.
