Zainabiya Seminary Organizes the Arbaeen Walk in Syria

Zainabiya Islamic Seminary, affiliated to the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in the Syrian Capital, Damascus, commemorated the 40^th day after the martyrdom of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him). On this occasion, this center organized a large rally of hundreds of Shia believers who walked the distance between the shrine of Lady Ruqaya and Lady Zaynab, peace be upon them both. The mourners of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him) held banners and flags and recited eulogies in remembrance of the AhlulBayt (peace be upon them) during this rally. Each year, and following the orders of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi, the Islamic Seminary of Zainabiya holds various cultural and religious programs to honor the memory of Imam Husayn (PBUH) during the months of Muharram and Safar.
