Nonviolence Incorporation Expresses Concerns over Tensions in Ethiopia

Nonviolence Incorporation (Freemuslim Association) published a message in which it requested the Ethiopian authorities to resolve recent tension in this country, through dialogue and peaceful means.  Some parts of the message reads:

Nonviolence Incorporation (Freemuslim Association) is deeply concerned about the ongoing conflicts in Ethiopia and expresses dissatisfaction with the current situation. Therefore, this foundation calls on the authorities in Ethiopia to resolve their political differences through dialogue and peaceful means. The message also added: “Nonviolence Incorporation (Freemuslim Association) has obtained documents and reports indicating numerous human, environmental and material harms in areas where there is a confrontation between the Ethiopian central government and separatist groups.” It should be noted that the Ethiopian officials should be aware of the consequences and repercussions that these conflicts impose on the human, environmental and economic growth of this country. In this sense, and in order to stop the war, a ceasefire must be declared without delay, and crossings and roads must be opened for humanitarian aids so that the necessary aid and relief can reach the victims.
