Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation Honors Winners of Contest

Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development in holy Karbala, under the supervision of the Office of Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi honored the winners of Akaadh Altaf contest. Mr.Ahmad Almadhi, the head of referee committee of the contest said: “In the ceremony organized by Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation, the top participants in this contest were honored. This contest provided a platform for the contesters to compose works of poetry on the subject of Imam Hussein and the Ashura Tragedy.” He then added that Ashura Tragedy has become a culture that is rich in poetry and other literary forms. More than 50 poets from different Arab and non-Arab countries participated at this contest.

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
