Nonviolence Incorporation Appreciates Anti-Terrorism Measures by Indonesian Government
Nonviolence Incorporation published a statement to appreciate the anti-terrorist measures by the Indonesian security forces in this country. Parts of this statement read as follows:
The Indonesian government’s comprehensive counterterrorism operation is commendable. In this regard, we request the Indonesian government to work with all intelligence-security efforts to prevent more innocent people from being killed around the world.
In recent days, the authorities in Indonesia have announced the discovery of the most dangerous nest and terrorist hotspot in the city of Java, which is considered as a center for attracting forces and managing and controlling active terrorist operations in the Middle East and Europe.
According to the Indonesian government, the terrorist safehouse were responsible for the 2002 bombings in Bali, in which 202 men, women and children were killed. The center has trained and sent hundreds of terrorist elements to Syria and Iraq to join other terrorist groups, such as al-Qaeda and Daesh.
