Nonviolence Incorporation Condemns Demolition of Mosques in India

Following the destruction of several mosques and Islamic centers in Madhya Pradesh City of India, which were ransacked by a group of Hindu extremists, the Nonviolence Incorporation (FreeMuslim Association) condemns the attack in a public statement:

Nonviolence Incorporation (FreeMuslim) requests the Indian authorities to live up to their moral and legal responsibilities and safeguard the religious freedom of Muslim communities in India. In recent months, a mosque was attacked by a group of racist extremists in City of Madhya Pradesh. In this attack, all religious signs were taken down and they were replaced by signs of other religions. Religious chaos and such discriminatory actions are a threat to the stability and future of India. The Indian authorities have announced they have captured five extremist Hindus in relation to this incident. Nonviolence Incorporation (FreeMuslim) urges Indian Muslims to exercise restraint to seize the opportunity from those who want to disrupt the stability, and security of the country. Looking up at the holy Prophet of Islam as a role model in tolerance and peaceful coexistence can be very effective. In doing so, the Muslims of India should not seek revenge, which will result in nothing but loss and regret.
