Nonviolence Incorporation Worried over Violation of Human Rights in Myanmar
Following a military coup that toppled the incumbent government of Myanmar, Nonviolence Incorporation published a statement that reads as follows:

Nonviolence Incorporation (FreeMuslim Association) is deeply concerned about the dangerous events that followed the military coup in Myanmar, which led to the overthrow of the legitimate and elected government of the country. This organization also condemns the coup and calls on the military to choose democracy and have respect for the people of Myanmar by their adherence to human rights standards. The organization also believes that the recent coup in Myanmar will throw the government, the nation and the country into a dark dungeon, which will have dire consequences, also this coup took place at a critical time, and a military coup it is not universally accepted.
Nonviolence Incorporation (FreeMuslim Association) condemns this coup from the perspective of Islamic teachings and condemns any action that is against the will of the people, whether by force of weapon or military power, or by force of deception and fraud; therefore, it emphasizes the necessity and immediate importance of the country’s affairs to democratic institutions.
It also holds Myanmar’s military rulers responsible for maintaining the safety and health of its citizens and warns of any acts of violence planned for revenge.
