Clerics from Holy Najaf Meet with Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

On Friday, 20^th of Rabi Al-Thani 1440 Ah, a group of religious speakers, clerics and members of the clergy from Holy Najaf Islamic Seminary met with the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi in Holy Qom. In this meeting, these Iraqi visitors offered reports of their activities to the Grand Jurist and listened to statements by his eminence.

In his remarks, the Grand Jurist said:

‘It is very necessary for our dear clerics and religious speakers to sit with the youths and have face-to-face dialogues with them. This will result in the youths to find the answer of many questions and misgivings about Islam, as the final religion. God Almighty has said in Quran:

“So that he who perishes, does so with clear proof and he who survives, does so with clear proof.” This means that the youths who choose faith and righteousness with clear proofs and those who choose for falsehood, should also do so with clear proofs. Therefore, it is necessary that the youths be given the chance to discuss their concerns and questions with religious experts.’
