Blood Donation Campaign Launched on Birthday of Imam Hussein (PBUH)

Imam of Life Blood Donation Program begins in Iraq coinciding with the birthday of Master of Martyrs, Imam Hossein, peace and blessings of God be upon him. In this program, donors from different parts of Iraq celebrate the birthday of Imam Hossein (Blessings of God be upon him) by donating blood at different available centers. This humanitarian initiative was firstly suggested by the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi. It is worth noting that since 2012, the followers of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi run this blood donation program every year in different parts of the world.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
