Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Kabul Afghanistan Holds Seminar

On the birthday anniversary of Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), the Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in Kabul, Afghanistan held a seminar on the notion of End of Times and Imam al-Mahdi in the Islamic faith. This seminar was held under the title of “A religious study into the notion of awaiting the savior”. Researchers, academics, parliament members, clerics and representatives of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi were present in this seminar. The lecturers talked about a variety of topics such as the occultation era, scientific progress in society, and the need to do academic study into the idea of the return of the savior. Reading eulogies and poems, honoring some women clerics, and giving certificates to top clerics from the Fatima Masoumeh Seminary were other parts of this seminar.
