University of Ahl al-Bayt Ranks among Top Universities in Iraq

The University of Ahl al-Bayt, affiliated to the Office of Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Karbala was ranked within the best universities of Iraq, according to Times Higher Education study.

Times Higher Education (also known as THE) assesses educational facilities and universities based on their quality of education, their collaborations with industries, innovative studies, gender equality and etc.

Ahl al-Bayt University is ranked eighth among the 27 public and private universities in Iraq this year.

It is worth mentioning that Ahl al-Bayt University is the first private university established in Iraq in 2003 and includes these faculties: Dentistry, Pharmacy, Faculty of Medical Technology, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (Department of Arabic Literature, Department of Literature). English, Department of Journalism) and the Faculty of Islamic Sciences (Department of Jurisprudence and Principles, Department of Quranic Sciences, Department of Religious Tourism).
