Offices of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Iraq Honor Nights of Qadr

The Offices and Islamic Centers affiliated with the Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in different parts of Iraq held series of ceremonies to honor the blessed nights of Qadr, and the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace and blessings of God be upon him).

In the holy city of Karbala, the Grand Jurist’s Office hosted groups of cultural and religious activists, as well as the general public, to mourn the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). Sheikh Zubaydi delivered a lecture to the participants in this ceremony. Imam Hassan Mojtaba Center, affiliated with Um Abiha Cultural Institute in holy Karbala also held some special programs for women, to honor the Nights of Qadr.

In the holy city of Najaf, the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi honored the night of Qadr on the 23^rd night of the holy month of Ramadan. This ceremony hosted some senior scholars, seminarians and clerics, cultural and social figures, as well as the general public.

Rasul Adham Cultural and Charity Institute in the holy city of Kadhimiya also commemorated the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and honored the night of Qadr. The ceremonies held by this center were attended by groups of Shia believers and servants of the holy AhlulBayt (peace be upon them), who listened to statements by Sheikh Ahmed Allami.
