Commemorations of the Martyrdom of Imam Sadiq (PBUH) Worldwide

On the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) the leader of the Shia school of thought, many Islamic centers and offices affiliated with his eminence, the Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi, held commemorative ceremonies different parts of the world.

On this occasion, the Office of Grand Jurist in holy Karbala held a commemorative ceremony to honor the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) on Monday, 25^th of the month of Shawwal. This ceremony was attended by cultural and religious figures, and the general public, who listened to a lecture by Sayed Ahmed Nawwab.

The Public Relations Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Karbala also held a similar ceremony to honor the martyrdom of Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him. This ceremony was held at this center, and it hosted the believers and lovers of AhlulBayt (peace be upon them).

The Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in Basra also commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Sadiq (PBUH) on the 25^th of the month of Shawwal. Several clerics and Shia believers attended this ceremony.

The Shia believers in Copenhagen City of Denmark also gathered at Imam Sadiq Center, to commemorate the martyrdom of this holy Imam. Lectures in Danish and Arabic as well as congregational religious rituals were parts of the programs in this ceremony.

Darul-Hussein Center in Sydney, Australia, affiliated to the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi also commemorated the martyrdom of Imam Sadiq (PBUH). The participants at this ceremony listened to a religious lecture by Sayed Ali Asghar Modarresi.
