AhlulBayt Institute in Basra Honors Religious Competition Winners

AhlulBayt Cultural and Charity Institute in Basra Iraq, affiliated to the Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi, held a ceremony to honor the winners of a religious competition about the famous sermon “the Pious People”, delivered by Imam Ali (blessings of God be upon him).

This competition was organized by this institute and Rasul Adham Quranic Center in northern Basra, which hosted 400 participants. The top 40 contenders received prizes in this ceremony.

Sheikh Sadiq Al-Basri, the director of AhlulBayt Institute encouraged the attention to Nahjul-Balagha during a lecture at this ceremony.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)
