Famous Iraqi Speaker Meets Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

Over the past few days, Sayed Ali Taliqani, a famous Iraqi religious speaker, along with Mostafa Soozani, a eulogist of AhlulBayt met with the Grand Shia Islamic Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi in the holy City of Qom in Iran. In this meeting, the Grand Shia Jurist made a few remarks about the significance of dedication, with references to holy Quran and noble traditions.

The Grand Jurist specifically said:

‘The meagre and undeveloped means of communication in the past had made it almost impossible to confront the black propaganda against Islam; this task however is not impossible anymore, owing it to the relative freedoms all across the world and the developed technologies of our time.’

The Grand Jurist further said:

‘The reason why there are still young people who turn away from Islam is our inability to introduce the genuine Islam to the world. We need to publish Islam, using modern techniques and convincing contexts. In our missionary works, we should show our utmost respect to each and every one, as Imam Ali (peace be upon him) has said that God’s favorite servants are hidden among masses.’

At the end, the Grand Jurist stressed on the life of the God’s holy messenger of Islam as the best example for preachers to follow. His eminence then said:

‘Iraq requires sacrifice and hard work to turn into a prosperous nation and you are the people who can make this happen, through your hard work and diligence.’
