The Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Karbala held two ceremonies to mourn the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Askari (peace be upon him). The first ceremony was held on a Friday night, in which Sheikh Zuhair Al-Asadi delivered a lecture to the participants. In the second ceremony, which was held on the morning of Friday, Sheikh Moayad made a speech to the believers.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
