Nonviolence Incorporation Publishes Statement on International Week of Science and Peace

On the threshold of the International Week of Science and Peace, Nonviolence Incorporation (Freemuslim Association) published a statement that read as follows:

In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Almighty God states in Holy Quran: “…say, ‘My Lord! Increase me in knowledge.”

Chapter 20, Verse 114.

Mankind owes his development and advancement to his unsatisfied thirst for learning and knowing; in other words, many nations have achieved prosperity and progress through their unending search for science and knowledge. Knowing that science and peace are limbs from a tree and that they cannot be separated from each other, it is existentially important to promote humanities, spirituality and science at the same time. Otherwise, humankind would plunge in the depth of ignorance and backwardness. The international community has designated November 6th, as a day to celebrate the unison between science and peace and therefore, Nonviolence Incorporation (Freemuslim Association) requires all official and unofficial entities to pave the way for learning in a peaceful world. In doing so, Nonviolence Incorporation highlights the need to support all educational and cultural organizations in all parts of the world. Furthermore, Nonviolence Incorporation calls on all Islamic foundations to educate the young generations about the genuine Islamic teachings and principles, which put great emphasis on learning and preserving peace at the same time.
