Shias from Baghdad Meet with Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

On Sunday, February 17, 2019, a group of Iraqis from Baghdad, the Capital of Iraq, along with Sheikh Ahmed Al-Budairi, the director of Lady Zahra Islamic Seminary as well as some clerics and the families of Iraqi martyrs met with the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi in holy Qom.

In this meeting, the Grand Jurist prayed for these visitors and said:

“This world is not everlasting, and finally we all will die. But on the Judgment Day, people will have regrets as why they didn’t have to deal with more hardships during their lives, since rewards are given out to the amount of one’s hardships.”

The Grand Ayatollah Shirazi then said:

“I pray to God to make your pilgrimage trip a fruitful and memorable journey, which will be perfected by your absolution and forgiveness. I hope you do also pray the same for me in your trip.”
