Teachers and Clerics from Hilli Seminary in Baghdad Meet Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

A group of clerics and teachers from Bin Edris Hilli Seminary from Baghdad visited the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Qom. At the beginning of this meeting, the director of the Islamic seminary reported on the activities of this center and thanked the Grand Jurist for his precious guidelines and support for charitable and educational programs. The Grand Jurist then made a few remarks at this meeting and said: “The holy City of Kadhimiya is home to Imam Mosa Kadhim and Imam Mohammad Jawad (as). The Seminaries in Kadhimiya have raised many great scholars, people such as Sayed Esmael Sadr, Sheikh Mirza Ali Zanjani, Sayed Hasan Sadr, and Mohaqiq Kadhimi.” His eminence then said: “Two things set apart the successful and unsuccessful people; first, it is scientific work, which is uniquely important during youth time. Second, it is true power. The two things have made great and phenomenal scholars, whose knowledge flows down in society even after centuries.”
