Birthday Celebration of Imam Mahdi at Grand Jurist’s Office in Lebanon

The Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in the Lebanese Capital, Beirut celebrated the birthday of the savior of humankind, the twelfth divinely appointed successor to the God’s messenger, Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his advent). A group of scholars and clerics as well as cultural and religious figures participated in this ceremony. At the end, Sheikh Jalal Maash, the director of the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Beirut made a few remarks about the etiquettes and philosophy of waiting for the advent of the holy savior.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
