Activities by Shia Societies Association in Iraq

Some members of the Shia Societies Association, dependent to Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Karbala visited the Kufa Mosque and discussed various topics with custodians of this religious and historic site. The members of this association further visited the Grand Jurist’s Office in holy Najaf and participated in weekly scientific sessions, supervised by Ayatollah Sayed Morteza Shirazi, the son of the late Grand Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Shirazi.

Meetings with famous cultural and religious figures in holy Najaf, as well as the governor of this Iraqi province were among other activities of Shia Societies Association.
