Indian Shia Activist Meets Director of Imam Hussein TV

Mirza Yasoub Abbas, a Shia activist from India visited Sheikh Mostafa Mohammadi, the director of Imam Hussein TV in holy Karbala. In this meeting, Sheikh Mostafa Mohammadi made a few remarks about the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (as) and said: “we are responsible to disseminate the culture and movement of Imam Hussein in the entire world, and prepare the grounds for the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his advent).” He further hinted that India has a great population of Shia Muslims and said: “We must produce a wide range of programs in Urdu for Indian audiences.” Mirza Yasoub Abbas welcomed this idea by manager of Imam Hussein TV and appreciated the attentions to the Shia community in India. Mr. Yasoub Abbas is the son of the famous Indian religious speaker, the late Mirza Mohammad Athar. He has launched several cultural and scientific centers in India to spread the culture of AhlulBayt (as).
