PR Manager of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Highlights Change in Preaching Discourse

Mr. Aref Nasrullah, the Public Relations Manager of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi underscored the need to revitalize the Shia preaching discourse in accordance with the latest technological advancements and social developments. In his meeting with Sheikh Abbas Batul, a Nigerian Shia religious preacher, Mr. Nasrullah hinted:

“It is very important to present a humane and peaceful image of Islam that is in total harmony with the rights of Muslim and non-Muslim groups.”

He then added:

“As Muslims and followers of the school of AhlulBayt (peace be upon them), we need to update our preaching discourse and use all modern and technological opportunities to convey the message of Shia Islam.”

The PR manager of Grand Jurist then said:

“The Shia have great potentials and they can revolutionize their preaching discourse. We have great thinkers, great speakers and orators, and phenomenal scholars. I believe this is possible.”

Sheikh Abbas Batul also said in this meeting: “The Shia Islam is at its first stages in Nigeria. And we need the support of Islamic authorities, seminaries and religious foundations to increase our preaching activities in this country.”
