Groups of Believers from Tehran Visit Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

Some groups of Shia believers from Tehran, the Iranian capital met with the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Qom. During this meeting, the Grand Jurist said:

“We all have requests and needs that we want God to fulfill. To this end, first of all we need to fulfill the requests and needs of people around us.” His eminence then recited a hadith that reads: “Show mercy so that you will be shown mercy.”

At the end of this meeting, the Grand Jurist prayed for these visitors from Tehran.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
