9th of Muharram 1440/2018 Commemorations Held at the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Holy Qom

Coinciding with the ninth day of Muharram, the Day of Tasu’a, the Offices of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi in holy Qom and other parts of the world held commemorations to mark this occasion.

Large crowds of people, clerics, and religious scholars participated in these commemorations, in which the speakers elaborated on the prime purposes of Ashura uprising and the sacrifices of Imam Hussain (AS) in Ashura 61 AH.

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
