Memorial Service of Grand Ayatollah Kabuli in England

A memorial service was held in England to commemorate the great Afghan Shia scholar, Grand Ayatollah Qorban-Ali Mohaqqiq Kabuli. The service was hosted by Imam Hussain Institute in Watford, London and it was attended by groups of religious scholars, clerics and representatives of Islamic jurists. Sheikh Abul-Rahman Haeri, the representative of the Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi also took part in this memorial service and offered his condolences on the passing of this great Shia scholar. Ayatollah Sayed Fadhil Milani was the keynote speaker of this event.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
