Freemuslim Publishes Statement on International Day of Cooperatives

Freemuslim association published a statement on the International Day of Cooperatives on July 6, 2019. The following is a part of this statement:

“The International Day of Cooperatives is an annual celebration of the cooperative movement that takes place on the first Saturday of July since 1923. The aim of this celebration is to increase awareness of cooperatives. The event underscores the contributions of the cooperative movement to resolving the major problems addressed by the United Nations and to strengthening and extending the partnerships between the international cooperative movement and other actors.”

The rest of the statement reads:

“In view of our legal and moral duty to spread peaceful coexistence around the world, Freemuslim association extends its earnest invitation to the United Nations and all other international organizations to cooperatively work for security, peace, stability, democracy and freedom. Freemuslim further stresses the significance of cooperative works as a means to internalize peace and stability in all nations, particularly in the Middle East.”
